Brainy Phonics 3.1

Alphabet Letters is an educational application designed to teach children the 26 fundamental letters of the alphabet. Each letter is accompanied by three examples that incorporate pictures, audio, and text to facilitate learning. The app features two quiz formats: one that prompts children to identify the same letter from four options and another that introduces random letters for selection. Success in these quizzes earns the child gold coins for a correct first answer and silver coins for a successful second attempt. A piggy bank feature displays the total coins accumulated throughout the experience.

The application's table of contents provides an overview of the letters, indicating progress with one to five gold stars based on consecutive correct first answers without mistakes. Additionally, the Phonics section covers 94 common American-English letter/sound combinations, each supported by three sample words and focused quizzes that allow children to practice individual phonemes or encounter them at random.

Beyond coin and star rewards, children can collect 12 puzzle pieces with two awarded for a correct first answer and one for a correct second attempt, enabling them to assemble 94 puzzles inspired by nursery rhymes that highlight specific phonemes. This literacy game is designed to complement other educational applications such as Brainy Words 2000, Brainy Sight Words, and Rhyme A Zoo, with plans to introduce Brainy Stories 1 and Brainy Rhymes 1 in the near future.
